When you meet with the Bellbird team, you’ll notice five, well-worn wooden planks fixed to our office wall. They’re planks from the steps of a house built by Jonny Collett’s grandfather when he arrived in Canterbury in the early 1900s. Jonny is from a family of builders and tradespeople, and those planks on the wall serve as a reminder to everyone at Bellbird Construction to create quality homes that stand the test of time.

He leads from the front, regularly visiting his teams on site to make sure your building project is tracking as scheduled. Bellbird Constructions’ greatest strength is its team. Every single person brings their own unique talent, experience and skills to each project. There is a team expectation to provide feedback or to point better solutions. A large part of Bellbird Constructions’ success comes from everyone taking a personal involvement in each build.

We want to sit down with you, answer your questions, and help you feel comfortable about the big decisions around building your home. What are your must-haves, your deal-breakers and your expectations? We want to understand you, your lifestyle and your motivations before we even start looking at building plans.
Along the way, we’ll take you out for a look at your site so you are always kept involved in the building progress. As we go, our team will be there to answer your questions, provide regular updates, and making sure we are staying true to your vision.
